This is the best thing ever. The original 2 million created levels will still be accessible but with the updated graphics engine and such, customization options have been greatly expanded upon, and there is so much more to do in terms of creation. I want this to hit markets really badly! D:
it's gonna hit by the end of this year! this was the first game i purchased with my own money when i got my ps3 XD I want to see what people can create with the new tools as well as seeing if i can make anything out of it myself!
Got an e-mail from Sony announcing LBP2 Winter 2010 so i say it will be out around the US Holidays. It will be on my hit list for sure.
This surprised me. They update this game so frequently, I didn't think they needed one. But if it's features improved, it should be better.
i heard they are finally introduce an official sackgirl. i hope all my "paid" stuff still can be use in LBP2.
I doubt it, but...you never know... Wouldn't it be funny if it was all already in it, as "free" content? That would piss you off wouldn't it XD
i doubt they'll do that, because nobody would buy anything DLC for LBP2 since they'll figure they'll get it for free in LBP3.
But it's a sony product. Like mircosoft and every other big company, they want yo money... They may not even have these costumes, heck...maybe a *GASP* costume builder so you can make your own instead of buying them. But charge the tool at $20aud because of how advanced it is XD
nah they wont do that, LBP fans have be proven to throw their money into the sea of costume. releasing a costume maker would prevent them from milking the fanbase, much like why nintendo never release a pokemon MMO. i never buy any costume other then MGS costume pack (to get more MGS feel when playing MGS level =P) and a random costume that i really like the hair. but i do buy every level pack ever released (MGS level pack and pirate of caribbean level pack) that the more reason not to do it. they wont do anything that will prevent them from milking the fanbase.
And why woudl they think that? All the DLC in LBP you still need to buy in order to have in LBP2. It's not becoming free. There is a costume maker, stickers. There's some levels that have stickers specifically made to be put on Sackboy so he can be Spiderman/Wolverine/Hulk etc. In fact, mine is Michelangelo from the Ninja Turtles.
I can't wait for this game! I especially like the look of the Sack-Bots! They'll be pretty cool! And being able to make your own cinematics as well! I just can't flippin' wait! ;D I spent ages making a sonic the hedgehog sackboy and, soon after I got it perfect, they released the official one... T^T But I'm still pleased with my home-made one

I loved the first I got it on day 1 and I will pick this one up on day 1 to. Modnation Racers will have to keep me busy till then.
Meh Starcraft 2 Galaxy editor is soooo much more powerful.Another hype by SONY. Halo Reach is gonna get a better review score than God of War 3.Just wait and see.
For a console game, it's damn advanced. You're comparing apples and oranges, while you can have mods on a PC, you can't on a console. Your comparison is ridiculous for that sole reason. Also no one has mentioned anything about Halo reach and GoW3, so don't bring it up, as it's entirely irrelevant.
