    well, I'm sure were going to have to know the rules of English In the test.

    i just forgot some stuff and they are like:

    WHY DID I BURN IT. please help.

    alitteration
    synomies (i think, i told ya i completely forgot.)
    Similies
    personifications

    well all those type of things please, i want to get good marks it determines my year 9, advanced or not, can ya please write down every single rule you know that will help?

    Alliteration is the repeated occurrence of the same consonant sound at the beginning of several words in the same phrase.

    Never heard of synomies, are you sure you don't mean synonyms or something?

    personification is when you talk about something inanimate as if it was a person, classic example is the devil/satan. There is no real person called satan, it's just a convenient way to talk about evil as if there was.

    Similes are when you compare/liken something to something else often by using the words 'like' and 'as'. For example: "He's as fat as an elephant", "The snow was like a blanket", etc.

    Exactly what kind of test is this? These things are something you'd usually have to use if analysing a literary text.
