Currently, I'm at my wit's end on trying to get Ubuntu to work. Apparently my graphics card (SiS) isn't well supported, so the graphics.....suck. I'm currently in the hunt for another distro. Back to the point, can anyone describe to me the Linux distributions, and your opinion on how user friendly/ good they are. All of my friends haven't used Linux... so I can't get any help from them
    No links please.

I found Mandriva linux the easiest to use, and I also quite like SuSE

I hear SUSE, Debian, and RedHat are good. My brother dual boots with SUSE, and it's not bad.
