Link vs Mario Who will Win

What does Link have? Weapons from the 16 hundreds? Pssh.

 

Link because first he throws a boomerang stunning mario then runs up and cuts his head off end of mario {)={ )

I've watched cpus duke it out and the best out of 5 was as follows:

Mario: 2
Link: 3

 

That's because Link has spamful moves.
You can't play fair at all with Link.

 

mario for sure, specially if he has that mega-mushroom from NSMB, then he'll easily squash Link like a bug.

I'm always Samus on Smash Bros. and warm up on level 9 marios.

 

Mario=...COMPLETE FAIL(at least in SSBB)
Link=TOTAL WIN!!(in any game)

 

Link because he is way cooler, he has weapons, and he fights of bigger monsters than marios biggest form

 

link has a boomerang, hookshot, his sword shoots magic, bombs, and a deadly dash attack. and he has fairies to revive him.

Unless Mario turns into a zombie I would say so. (In a game anything can happen)

 

Well can't Mario get invincible? Doesn't that help him alot vs Link? Or am i mistaken ^^'
But as someone said, Link got fairys, hence, he won't stop dying.

 

Although I suppose neither would win, I mean, whenever they die they just come back to life, or respawn, at a checkpoint. ???

 

link because mario is not as fast as link (i think) and mario is a G lord

 

Let's take a technical look...both have amazing powers (mario and his hats, link and his magic-not just the swords) but nethier of them are invincible.

If mario takes advantage of link's sluggish pace (I reckon he'd be faster in reali life, but that is just me) he might have open defences-after all the second he touches an enemy he looses his power and all mario can do is bounce...


After that a short stab to his heart and it's game over mario....


But if both fought stock standard ie no hats for mario and a sword and shield for link, it'll clearly be link, unless mario bounces on his head a few times...only to get his foot stabbed by link pointing upwards
