bangai-o spirits is ok, a little quirky but ok

the new suikoden game, tierkeris i think, is a little new to really be well known or popular, but i can't put it down.

drone tactics may give you a few laughs, like advance wars, but with bugs

Keep up the good fight for the unsung games. I love looking for the random games that never get much press and give them a try. I'm tired of seeing Zelda, Mario, and pikachu everywhere.

Well this is my taste but here goes:
    Mario hoops 3 on 3
    Bomberman 2
    Soul Bubbles
    Advance wars: days of ruin
    Worms open warfare 2
    Chrono trigger
    Mariokart DS

ok so the last 2 are pretty popular :p

Peggle: Dual Shot. I know it's for "sissies", but it's damn addictive. Also, Ninjatown and Big Bang Mini are good choices too for "unknown" games.

I quite like the Urbz. I know Sims games aren't that good, but I just like the GBA ones (and Urbz for the DS) because they're more like an adventure title. You actually control your sim person, for one.

My Sims is also great. Both the original and My Sims Kingdom have been time-sinks for me. I've wasted so many hours on them, just doing the most random inane stuff, but it's still fun.

I'm yet to try MySims Party, though.

Try the Worms series on DS. It is actually quite nostalgic, if you ask me. Bomberman 2 brings B-Man back into the A-League. Valkyrie Profile is rare to find around, and its a good TRPG.
