Leslie Nielsen dies at age 84

I just would like to say he was extremely a big loss in the movie industry. I would miss him extremely. He was an extremely funny actor in my opinion. I would have to add him in my list to visit when i go to the US next time. At least now i won't have to hunt him because he will be in one place. Rest in Peace man.

 

Normally, I wouldn't care all too much but I loved Leslie Nielson's films, including the more dramatic roles he took before he did Airplane. Airplane helped define my type of humor so I held it and his other comedies close to me. Not only that he was in the very excellent Creepshow, and he played the villain. This bums me out even more since they were planning on making a fourth Naked Gun film.

Sigh, RIP.

He was always serious...and he didn't like being called Shirley.
But seriously, this is really sad news. I loved him in all the films he was in (excellent in Dracula: Dead and Loving It). I even loved him in the Mr Magoo movie (the actual film itself was utter toss, but he was still great)!

 

The world just got a little less funny.

RIP Mr. Nielsen, you will be missed.

He was a funny guy.

 

No more presidential addresses in the scary movie sequels. Leslie Nielson was definitely one of the best comedians of all time and I guarantee quite a few people will shed a tear over his grave.

 

... Not cool man.

Now where are we going to get our fix of Slapstick Comedy?

Naked Gun got me through some harsh times. Airplane did too. He lived 'till 81, so he had a long an prosperous life, but he could have trained some of the younger folks on the art of comedy.

I was playing TF2 today and people were talking about his death. Then one guy went and said, "Who is this Leslie guy? He sounds, and probably is, a fucking retard."

 

I do hope you promptly murdered that one. I don't generally think much of Canadians but this one was one of the few that didn't deserve to be mauled by a polar bear.

 

Sounds like something an attention whore would do.

Don't worry, I killed him enough times to make him QQ and leave the server. And I got an achievement for that. Involved me dominating a player and causing him to leave the server.
