Lego Indiana Jones rom crash

??? My problem with lego indiana jones isn't flash card related and i think this would be considered technical help or in search of a work around or fix of some kind so here goes an explanation of whats going on. I load up the rom, select start new game and enter in the first level for raiders of the lost arc. it plays the opening movie and i start in on completing the level. I get to an area where i build a turn crank, the rom crashes and i get a pop up oops with some zeros and the number 8 somwhere in there. i end up having to use windows task manager to shut down the emulator and thats about as far as i can get with playing this rom. is there a work around or fix for it that anyone might know about? i don't have a flash card or own a ds. so all i have is my pc and no$gba emulator to run things. if anyone could help me out i would most appreciate it.

 

What version of no$gba are you using?

I'm using no&gba 2.6 which is the latest version from what i understand i'm not seeing a new version of no&gba in the link you posted

 

no$gba 2.6a is what is listed in the link blade posted is shown in bold under ""The save data could not be accessed.","Unable to access save data." or errcode=7 errors or anything related are received when trying to play a ROM :" section just mouse over it and click.

I've got 2.6a. It's not a matter of a save game. I don't know maybe it's just a rom crash due to the fact i have no thumb pad and it says to use a thumb pad or print on the gba whatever you call it to turn the hand crank. anyway i'll try it again and if it does the same crash i'll know it's due to the whole thumb thing.

Try using the no$zoomer addon with it. https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0 If that doesn't work, it's simply incompatible.
