Legend Of Zelda Spirit Tracks , Not long now.. 11 december

I sure hope this game dose not have the anti piracy check, do you think they will?

I have bean looking farwood to this game for some time... despite the title, but its a fun game though lol!

Some site's say this get released on the 7th of december, do you know more about this?

 

It would be foolish to think Nintendo won't put piracy protection on this game.

 

They did with COP The Recruit.. but that company was capcom!

C.O.P took much longer mabe about a month, (SUXXORS) cracked it after all!

 

The local game shops here still slate Dec 7th as the release date of Spirit Tracks. I would almost bet there will be protection on it so I'm not worrying about downloading it until its cracked...or I will just go out and buy it like I did with Phantom Hourglass when it first released.

 

So that's the US release date?

If the other big 2009 releases are anything to go by, this is going to have some form of protection on it. My guess is that it'll be pretty solid.

 

So this means they sould try to make cracks and patches befor the games are out?, Are is that impossable?

 

Impossible. You need to know how the game code is structured before you can make any moves to change it, either through memory injections (AR codes) or patching.

I think it was around 3 weeks to get every flashcart working
Hopefully it will be like Kh358/2 days
that was cracked on the first day it was released

Mario and Luigi 3 took over two weeks to finally work on the DSTT/R4. COP (U) was cracked the day the (U) version was released (or maybe a day later).
No one with the know-how cared about either game enough to work on them.

Of course the big names will have Zelda working quickly. Acekard and Normatt will find a way, CycloDS will probably release a stable 1.56 around that time, the people/person behind the infolib/extinfo may take a while to make a fix for the DSTT (and by extension R4s and other clones).

 

That's probably cause SE was being lazy

I saw December 7th as the release date on a commercial last night here in the US. I'm optimistic like you guys that it will be dumped & cracked quickly, as yeah, it's freaking Zelda. ;3

 

I don't recall Phantom Hourglass being protected so I doubt Spirit Tracks would be.
