This is the first ROM I have come across that I can't get to run on my 3DS XL with r4i 3DS Gold Deluxe Edition carts. The icon appears and the music plays, so something seems to have loaded but then when the A button is pressed to start it, the screen goes black and the message 'the game crad has been removed' appears. Any idea what I need to do to run this game? Thank you
You can not play any other 3DS game on any flashcard, Appart from Gateway are some new cones that are to come out. Even then heard this Zelda game will not even play on Gateways flashcard to . I now Own the Original cart of Zelda a link between Worlds , and Yes 2DS will play it also , Ruma it would not !lol
That's not right Jhon. Every other game I have tried on my r4i 3DS Gold Deluxe Edition works, including Mario Kart 7, New Suer Mario Bros2, the Lego titles, Sonic Lost World etc etc. Zelda is the first and only game I have treid that has failed to start.

It's no ones fault, Only people who made the Flashcard and there firmware can only fix the issue . Thanks for the heads up jimmsu. I have never done anything like this before. Can you give me a step by step walk through please? The r4i 3DS gold deluxe edition comes with two cartridges, one blue, one gold (one says 'starter). I assume I d/l the update and put the microSD card in one of the cartridges, then what? I obviously don't want to mess up/upgrade the console firmware/f**k up my current settings etc, so will this work and do I need to do it? Thanks
