I cant get out of menu every time i exit it brings right back up

 

I'm kinda new to replying..., since I've asked much questions i think I'm ready...

you might want to list what emulator your using and what version and what windows and specifications with almost every technical post.

i was playing mega man last time and it didn't show up the fighting screen, it just had a blue window, and monster would hit you, you need to to upgrade a better version of the emulator or change to a different one, i suggest No$gba 2.6 or no$gba 2.6a which could be obtained at either http://www.freewebs.com/nds-gamers/downloads.htm (already bought no$gba 2.6a and 2.6 ready for download) or http://nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm (the official site but $2.50 for the latest version download which could be obtained in the other link for free), ideas (http://www.ideasemu.org/), there is another working emulator but these 2 are alot better, or if your using an R4 update your firmware at http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ i suggest no$gba though...

 

Legend of Mana is for the PSX (I know he didn't say, but that's what it is).

I play it using ePSXe 1.7.0 and Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9

I do not have the problem you seem to have, make sure your controls are set up correctly (button assignments). I can open and close the menu freely. You may have some buttons assigned wrong. The button to open the menu and the button to close the menu are two different buttons.

How do i go about changing the button config? The version is same as yours Tirith.

To elaborate more the menu automatically comes up when u begin the game. Even when i select return it just comes back up again.

 

Config -> Game Pad -> Port 1 -> Pad 1.

The menu is opened with the Start button.

Sound is

Eternal SPU plugin 1.41

We're not using CDrom, and I was messing with the pad a few days ago. I'm going to check that now.\

Argh, my ISO must be bugged. Reset everything with on my pad controls.

Damnit, this is why I need a gamepad I guess.
