Legend of Legaia cdtiming issue

I'm using ePSXe version 1.7.0, and while playing Legend of Legaia, there are cdtiming problems during battles. I read the help file for the emulator, and it mentioned the -cdtiming command switch was incomplete and didn't include the -legaia part of the command line.

My question is, how would I edit the command line to look like this: C:\epsxe\epsxe.exe -cdtiming -legaia

That's not the exact path for my ePSXe, but I'm just currently unsure of how to get Legends of Legaia to run properly. I'm fairly certain that it would have been fixable under an older version by using a cheat to get the game to run properly, but the cheats tab isn't available in the newest version.

If any clarification is needed, I'll provide as much as I can, right now, it's just the battles in the game stutter and slow down but there are no error messages.
