Large art piece

With help of a tut, after noticing I had the bio C4Ds already.

 

I think it's awesome

 

It's awesom. The only thing that bugs me is the grungy background. Abstract would have been WAY better

 

Not bad at all, but the smoke effects aren't really doing it for me. It's a great dynamic piece, so the effects should capture it, and I feel that the smoke sort of detracts from the implied movement. Otherwise, excellent.

P.S. I apologize if I seem overly harsh with my criticism of your work. I tend to get pickier the better the work is, because the artist is more likely to understand the little things.

 

Thanks. I respect all critique, and mostly, after they have been said, I agree and start to change and adapt that piece, and I agree. The smoke was sort of an experiment. I'll open it up again soon and see about changing those effects with something else more fitting. Fire perhaps.

 

fire won't do the trick. Yellow and Black abstract lines would thou ^^

 

I'm re-hauling the background, just for you -- Though not abstract -- I will repost when I am finished ^^

Thanks for the comments Anyone is free to use them for anything you want. I don't care (One reason I left text out). I think I will just leave them both as they are now ^^

 

Clouds are a bit over-powering and some of the yellow bits of the C4D could do with a colour change. The water C4Ds are doing nothing imo and should be removed, but other than that, it's pretty faultless. Good Job.

I saw the evolution of your work, and you performed a really good job in there. I mean, the clouds render the aerial and dynamic spirit way better than the former background. You managed to create a very oniric picture there, and I like how I'm appealed by its atmosphere.
