My buddy reinstalled his laptop a while ago and now we can't play over LAN. We've downloaded some files from the official site, but there was no .exe file.

The laptop is: Acer Aspire 3690. WinXP.

Can someone give me guide so i can get the laptop up and running?

    Thanks in advance.

there should be some .dll and .sys files, at least one .cat file and an .inf file. If so, open device manager, find the lan controller and go through the update driver process. Say you have a driver and you want to tell it where it is, then point it to the .inf file.

Yup, i found it out by myself, sorry for the late post.

Anyway, i think it's a kind of stupid system that Broadcom uses to update the drivers.
