try to use the search-function on the site - and it's properly the firmware on your card that needs an update.

Firmware is the files you need on the card to make it word - it's different for every type op card. Find your cards firmware on this page http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

    Yes.

It is maybe an AP (Anti Piracy check), look in the Technical Help section on info on how to solve.
Or your firmware is outdated. Look on Linfoxdomain to get your firmware (already mentioned), or get it on the site mentioned on the box of your card.

I got the latest kernel for r4i and it's laging, can someone tell me why? Is it the card? I'm sad because i can't continue when i have saved because the files get corrupted :'(

    That changes things!

If the file is corrupted (the game says), you must have either powered the DS off when saving or something was gone wrong with saving.

    Possible Solutions:
) Do not turn your DS off when saving,
    ) Re-download the ROM,
) Delete your .sav (or whatever you might have) file

ok, so it's not the card? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    No, it mostly isn't :D

I had this problem with The Legend Of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass and deleting my .sav solved it.

But!: Deleting your .sav file will cause your progress to be lost!!
Re-Downloading does nothing, only replaces the ROM. Your progress is still here.

If those things do not work for you, try putting DMA and Soft-Reset off (if you haven't already).

DMA is unknown to me what it means, but it is something that when it is activated it fixes some things. Sometimes you need to put it off when a game gets white screens or doesn't save.

Yes, soft reset is the red/green icon in the upper-right.

Oh, doesn't it show up on your card? Sorry then. On my card it shows up...

If you have any 'settings' menu, look in it for any "DMA" button. Press it if found...

If you do not have that, you will need to format your card.
    Format instructions:
) BACKUP your files (copy to PC),
    ) Go to "This Computer",
    ) Right-click your SD card's letter,
    ) Click Format,
) Click "FAT" and change it to "FAT 16" or "FAT 32",
    ) Click Format once again,
    ) Wait until finished,
    ) Copy files back
