Lag Issues With a Few Games

I've had a few problems with lagging occasionally.

I'm using an AceCard2i with a 4gb sandisk for memory. I havnt had any problems until i started playing Pokemon platinum and the new FFCC.

In Pokemon platinum its only the menus, when i scroll through shop menus or my bag it has a delay on it, its not really that bad but still sorta annoying. For FFCC when a few monsters are on the screen my FPS start to slow down dramatically depending on if they all die at the same time or not (the more stress on the game the more lag). Im rather sure its not suppose to do this.

Any ideas of how to fix this? Oh and im using Akaio 1.4 (been amazing).

Any ideas would help, also if you say something like "format the memory card" or something, could you give instructions of how, or a link to a guide ^^ thanks.

 

You will want to try formatting your MicroSD card.

Plug it into your computer just like you normally would.
Open up your memory card on your computer.
Copy all of the games, saved game files, and any pictures, music, videos, etc. you wish to keep.
Put them into a Folder on your Desktop, labelled something like "Acekard2 Backup".

Now, go back to the "My Computer" and Right Click on your MicroSD.
Choose "Format".
Confirm the choices (Make sure it's FAT32).

Once it's done, open up the MicroSD again.
Go to http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ and download the latest Acekard2i firmware.
Load the firmware onto your card.
Load all the backed up games and files from the Desktop folder you created earlier.

That should be it all.

I did a format, but it didn't help any, I used the AKAIO v1.4.1 as my firmware. Going to try redownloading the games that lag for me now. using akaio still. if that doesnt work, i will do another format and try using AceKard_2_v4.15_menu as my firmware. Hope this works, any other ideas?

Oh and I dont use rom trimming, not sure if that changes anything but i never needed room on my card so i never bothered. if its actually "better" to use trimming id love to know how ^^".
