A victory for USA(not on paper but philosophically speaking) as they were not the favorite to win this match. England was expected to win. That by no means implies that England is a bad team and was performing poorly in the match, rather it was USA that really went out there and showed the world that an underdog can turn the table and its players almost did it.
england was actually playing better. more possession, more shots and more shots on target. USA just avoided a loss. I think its going to be a strange competition, of the 5 matches so far, 3 have been drawn.
