Hey guys, I'm having trouble beating Mission 89 of the optional objective. The enemy Dustflier kicks my ass and taunts me. How do you fuckin beat him?
I suggest you finished the game first, then buy zero gear from the moogle shop. Use Sight unit to the Zero gear, this will help you damage it. The rest is up to your ability to dodge it's attacks.
you could do that or if u want to take it on right now just glide away during his shockwave and follow up attack then move in close for some damage. It'll take a while but you'll avoid death and destruction towards your hp bar. Keep a couple of elixirs and tons of curas for when you go under the halfway mark of your hp.
Just be careful you don't get the status that reduced your defense to LVL1, I can guarantee a 1 hit kill from it if you do.
Fire resistance accessories help immensely - especially Tears of Flame. The fight is necessarily going to be a long one, as the Dustflier takes little damage and has few opportunities in between attacks in which you can damage it. Glide is going to be your best friend here.
