You can overwrite the 2.6 binary executable with the 2.6a executable and it should work fine.

I can confirm this patch working.

Download Lunar IPS

Download the IPS Patch from here (thanks to gokuguy for the patch)

Load LunarIPS, search and select the IPS Patch. Then it will initiate for you to load a ROM, in the dropdown, select All Files and load the clean Kingdom Hearts ROM.

An alternative method is to use a hex editor, load the ROM, find the string 01 E2 0C 51 00 0D, and change 0C to 37 (in HEX values), equal to 12 and 55 in DEX.

 

I tried the 2.6a binary ex, and it worked fine, so thats a goeer
Meanwhile, I have searched 3 files and still no luck XD.

I'm trying arm patches from the main games that had problems. ie: GTA. Phantasy Star Zero, Chrono Trigger. I'm using arm patches from various roms to see if I can get something going. Most likely we'll have to wait for an AP release of a fix.

 

Same here, I read about the problems that were coming up, and my first thought was back to the problems everyone encountered with Chinatown Wars.

I'm Trying to get the game Up And Running on the Emu while waiting for the Bypass Code for the R4 SDHC

 

Yet again the CycloDS comes out on top.

not out yet. since i my self am new to this forum. i'm guessing it will come out here on this thread when it does. or alternatively you could go to gbatemp and wait for narin to make one.

 

oops you mean the emu is one that is patched sorry its cause its past midnight

 

I just tested this now and I can confirm this is working with the latest beta.
Team Cyclops even managed to beat Narin to the fix.
The intro is awesome. The audio is pure quality.

No biggie. I'll be playing this game on no$gba for now and then just transfer the save file when the patched game is available.
