    Whoever has an R4 should try this patch from one of the topics I saw and used and worked for my KH: http://zenaku.net/rj/kh_patch.zip

    This does not go to my credit, but Littlekill. Just follow these instructions:
    1. Download the patch.
    2. Extract the patch to a new folder.
    3. Download a clean copy of the game.
    4. Drag the clean copy to one of these options in the folder: patcher_win.exe if you're on windows, patcher_mac if you're on mac or patcher_linux if you're on linux.
    In the same directory, you should find kingdom_hearts_patched.nds when it's done.
    5. Wait for a couple of seconds and ENJOY!!!

    NOTE* You need to have the latest firmware for the R4. http://www.r4ds.cn/download/r4ds.html (This is the official site for the firmware downloads for the R4) . My version is 1.18 for my R4 and the game works fine. I hope it helps!!! :D
