So I got a new keyboard/mouse for christmas and it's really nice, but for some reason all my games are lagging (I never lag in my games D=) like alot! So what's going on? I had a big Utorrent file, but I deleted it now, I also left my computer left overnight and still, lagging badly, is it the keyboard/mouse?

Go into the task manager and see if anything is consuming tons of resources. If there is nothing, simply restart your computer.

nope it isnt the keyboard or mouse. It's either something running on your computer or high latency on your connection to the game server.

This instance reminds me of that news article a few years ago about "generic" computer peripherals made either from China or Mexico that were being injected with virii or malware that serves as a "marketing" strategy (a very dis-honest one at that) to make buyers think the product they bought needs replacing after several hours of usage, when in fact it's bad bits of data that were bundled with the product which was causing the issue.

I had my share of run ins with this sort of thing. I once bought a very cheap generic gamepad costing around $4USD or 200+ Php & AVG detected that the installer CD that came with it had a virus in it.

defragmenting only helps in certain circumstances.
