Katakana? makes them legit? so the other versions hasnt legit pkm??

    hi im dowloading the english translated heart gold rom + AP and i just saw the other version with Katakana...

    What is Katakana?? what does it do precisely?? legit pokemon? confused..

    Katakana are the Japanese characters (like the alphabet). But why don't you download Rykin112's patch? (Not that I have anything against Kazo's, it's even quite good, but Rykin's has the full story translated.) You'll find it in the 'Your Section Here' board.

    There are three alphabets; if my 3rd grade memory serves me properly.
    Kanji:
    Consisting of 8000 different characters, these characters are all chinese.
    Katakana:
    Consisting of 46 different characters, used to represent foreign words
    Hiragana:
    Consisting of 46 different characters, used to represent native Japanese
