Just got my new laptop

    Yes. For those of you who remember my other thread, I finally bought my laptop. Hp pavillion 2k series. Just liked to know is it is one hell of a gaming machine or not. The graphic card is NVIDIA Geforce 8400M GS. Integrated and dedicated with 895 MB graphics memory and 128 MB dedicated video memory. Do you think it is capable to run games like C&C Tiberium Wars?

    graphics memory and video memory are the same thing. Do you mean 128MB video memory and 895 main (system) memory?

    looks perfectly reasonable to me, I don't see why it wont run tiberium wars if you try it. Laptops aren't ideal for games though, even so called 'gaming' laptops.

    RM5000 in my currency. I'm assuming 1us$ = RM3.8 so...$1300 or so

    well with RM5K you can get a better Desktop.....but again Desktop arent portable.

    That's the idea. I'm gong Australia to study this year. Oh, and thanks for the help lion man. I 'll be getting some awesome games for my laptop soon. Pirated of course. Hey don't look at me like that, oiginals are friggin expensive and worse if your pc cant support it.

    Eww, will vista even run the games that you want, also with Vista you should have at least 2GB or Ram imo.

    I dunno. My old games like resident evil 3 and no one lives for ever works fine on vista.
