Just Cause 2 PC savegame location????

Ive just updated my just cause 2 game, and the savegame has disappeared completely. I dont want to start all over again from the beginning and i want to know where to put the ".sav" files, because putting them in the install directory does nothing. Does anyone know where else the save location could be? Because I cant find it!

They may be stored in some common directory in the "My Documents" area or Program Files\Common Files

 

or somewhere in the Steam subfolders... like the 'userdata' folder.

 

try googling for it's ubication, it seems some versions of the game are programmed to hide the directories
