Hi. I'm xelados, and I've been coming here to Romulation for a few months. I was really surprised to find such a good ROM site that didn't lie about what it offered. I've always been able to count on Romulation to have whatever ROM or ISO I need, and I figured now would be a good time to start posting.

I'm a big fan of Nintendo, but my favorites are the NES, GBC, GBA, and NDS. I have an R4 and plan on writing some of my own software for the DS once I get enough C++ experience under my belt. My favorite genres are action, adventure, vertical shooters, puzzle, and RPG.

Outside of gaming, I draw, make pixel art, work on website layouts, code, and play pool.

Well, I guess that's about it. Don't want to seem like I'm bragging or anything. :p I hope I can become a positive member of the forums.

Hi, new guy here from jersey. I have downloaded a few nds files before but now everytime I hit the download buttoin for a game i like, it gets me to a page where i have to pick a mirror site? and then when i click my mirror option, then the unending time to wait if tis going to load or not but it won't. does that mean i don;t have enough points to download. my last download was about a month ago. pls advise, i dont mind contributing at least $5 if im going to be able to download again...

It depends on what your trying to download. Most of the NDS game require no points. PSX ISO's however vary between games so you should check to see if you have enough points to download in the first place. As for the mirror issue, which one are you clicking on?? I use the Europe Mirror alot and I find that there is no problem with it.

Oh by the way eagle_one and mortal_lament, you guys should start a thread of your own. Its not nice to take someone's thread like this....

I don't mind so much, Renji. I had forgotten about this topic (and even these forums) since I was so busy working on a different project of mine. Thanks a lot for the warm welcome, guys. Unfortunately, I haven't really done much to start learning C++. Could you recommend a good resource or two for newbies, marcy? I've already installed devkitarm and libnds (and everything else I'd need for DS homebrew). I just don't know how to use it, lol.

The only resource I know is this:
    http://www.cplusplus.com

Maybe someone else knows a better one.

    I mainly learnt by coding.
It was easy for me to learn the basics, because of my good teacher.

Forget them until you have learnt the language to a good standard.
