Some nice games are coming out, so I decided to jump back to the DS scene. I'm starting fresh, with an empty MicroSD card. I can't remember many games, so I'm here to ask for recommendations from YOUR personal point of view, since I'm too lazy to think for myself. If possible, label it via genre since I'm making folders for different types of games. I seriously forgot nearly every good game, since I've been away from the scene for so long.

Okay, let's see what I can do:

    - Phoenix Wright games, all of them *Puzzle*
    - Both new 007 games (Goldeneye and Bloodstone) *Shooter*
    - Batman: The Brave and the Bold (worth a play through for sure) *Action/Adventure*
    - New Super Mario Bros. *Platformer*
    - Super Mario 64 DS *3D Platformer*
    - Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow *2D Action RPG*
    - Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin *2D Action RPG*
    - Rock Band 3 *Music/Rhythm*
    - The World Ends With You (not a favorite of mine, but generally loved) *RPG or Something*
    - Dragon Quest IX *RPG*
    - Pokemon Black/White (with the translation patch of course) *RPG*
    - Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals *Action RPG*
    - Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light *Traditional RPG*
    - Dementium 2 *Puzzle/Horror/Shooter*
    - Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions *Action/Adventure/Platformer*
    - Professor Layton games (All) *Puzzle*

That's all I can really think of at 2am. Hope it helps. The genres are listed next to each game as I think they are. Some are kind of general because I'm tired and didn't feel like thinking that hard. x)

Mario Kart, obviously, with the game almost a smash hit even today
FFTA2, good Strategy game, kinda tedious at the end
Professor Layton (All) No comment necessary.
Henry Hatsworth - a surprising entry, mixes puzzle and platformer into a fast-paced game, highly addictive
James Bond 007 Blood Stone - good game, better than Goldeneye in some ways

Jam with the band (E) - interesting rhythm game that's similar to guitar hero (with TONS of FREE downloadable/patchable (check filetrip) songs.)

Bowser's Inside Story - Mario RPGs are ALWAYS fun.

Sonic Rush, Rush Adventure, Colors - GOOD Sonic 2.5d Platformers

  9. Chrono Trigger - RPG
Golden Sun Dark Dawn - RPG ( needs patching )
Professor Layton and the Curious Village/ and Pandora's Box/ And the Unwound Future - Puzzle
Dragon Quest IX : Sentinals of the Starry Skies - RPG
    Grid - Racing
Mario and Luigi : Partners in time/ Bowsers Inside Story - RPG
Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing - racing
    Mario Kart ds - racing
These are only a few of what i recommend.
Any of the Final Fantasy's - RPG
