java snes???!

    can any one tell me if there is a java snes emulator out there i cant seem to find one for the public theres one in the works but the guy who's making it isn't interested in it no more, can someone help me?

    Are you talking about a SNES emulator that runs on java or is programmed in java? Probably java, but at the moment there's no snes emulator, only NES and others.

    java is an inefficient high-level language and is not suited to emulation.

    it is too slow to be used in emulators for newer systems. High level languages as a rule are not suitable for emulators.

    all the online java emulator i played did at full speed some with save stats

    That's probably since it's online. Playing them off-line would be slower from what Loony said although they should be able to emulate SNES.
