Most Japanese games, especially RPGs don't really have English text conversions in game, you either need to wait for an official English release or a fan translation patch to surface
Soma Bringer is one, you can find several thread here on RomUlation discussing that & on the Trading section is a pre-patched ROM of it. Jump Ultimate Stars is another, again there are already some threads discussing that here. Hope that helps you out
Some Japanese etc. ROMs have English language files etc. inside, which can be edited to make it the default file to load.
>.< i cant find any on google do the roms on romulation have the english patches? >.> and is there a way to tell before downloading it?
Each game usually comes with it's own separate patcher, which can't be used for other patches for other games. Just getting the patch, and following the readme would be enough.
If you are interested in an English patch for a great GBA game which came only in Japanese try the translation patch for mother 3. Just google it.
No need to trouble yourself, here's the Mother 3 translation patch straight out from RHDN http://www.romhacking.net/trans/1333/
