Japanese Voices on EU/US Games?

Heeeey,

I'm just wondering if there's anyway of getting the original Japanese voices onto a non Japanese rom? I'm talking mainly DS here, i request as the english voices on most anime style games are painfully bad to me and the originals would be much better

 

probably not seeing as you would have to make patch to override the original voices of the US and E

Request a patch on gbatemp.net, or you could grab the sound binaries via hex or Tahaxan, and then rebuild them with the Japanese files.

 

name the game, i'll see what i can do about it..... some games cant be recover as the developer remove the voice via codding, some of them are too much work to recover (like Megaman ZX 2, all the voice data in a mess)

And it was mainly Lux-Pain and Suikoden Tierkreis, the first game mentioned i really dislike them and on the latter they talk stupidly fast, minor annoyances i know but still. Look forward to hearing from you calvin ^^

Edit - Managed to do the undub found at GBAtemp for Suikoden just need Lux-Pain now

 

i'll take a look on that game and see what i can do.... btw it will take time since i do it in my free time in the office (my house computer are too old to handle the job)
