James Cameron's Avatar unplayable

I am having a problem with playing James Cameron's avatar and any help would be apreciated.
I have tried several things on romulation but they don't seem to work.

I'm sorry. OK lets see...
I have v1.18 R4 and the game says:
error code:-4
system halt!
After removing everything and putting it back on again, it goes white when I load it.
I have read the common issues etc. before but they do not help in anyway.

Try using Ysmenu.

This contains the 1.18 R4 firmware, and the files for Ysmenu. You start up Ysmenu.nds from the game menu and it will boot into the Ysmenu system. Then you play the games that won't work in just 1.18

 

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately it does not work.
After starting the YS Menu, I selecetd the game but it says:
load rom errcode=-4



Please reset system

You need to use 'YSMenu' in conjunction with the latest version of the DSTT software ... that is version V1.17a12. It works fine with that combination.

The exact same problem persists, or am I doing something wrong?
I merged the TTmenu with my current one and replaced everything.
I ran the YSMenu NDS but the game (avatar) did not work.

I have just zipped up the O.S. off my own R4 card, so here it is. Just copy this to your card (overwrite everything) and then add the rom to the games folder .. it works for me every time !!!

I use DSTT with 1.17a12 and YSMenu but it don't work (Error Code 5). Any suggestions?

Hi Every body.
I have just downloaded the new DSTT firmware, update is dated 21/12/2009.
here is the site for the download.

I have tested it on Avatar, Rabbids go home, Assassins Creed II, and Battle of Giants Dragons.

And I can confirm that they are all working ok on the Original DSTT card.
If you are having trouble then could it be that your card is fake? :-\

I have tired it out on THREE different R4 cards and it has worked fine on them all .. perhaps your copy of the ROM is faulty.

He is using ysmenu for R4, and not the kernal v1.18

Having both firmware's on the same R4 can be helpfull sine ysmenu can run some of the AP games, check list hear
