Issues with the releases page and a slight problem

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for this site, until recently I used DGemu only, and their point system didn't work for DS roms, this is a much better system and I've never seen such active admins. A few quick gripes and I'll get out of your hair.

first, on the releases page (Great idea guys, i used to go to three individual pages for game releases, one for europe and one for US, another for a great rating system they used. now they're all consolidated) I'm not sure if the problem comes from the fact that I have a small laptop (acer's aspire one), the fact that I'm using Firefox , or if it's a space error to begin with, but the shipping date and subscribers columns are crammed together, causing it to look like one number. While it's nothing major, it's a little difficult to read at first. It could be easily fixed by centering the subscribers column, though that may cause problems elsewhere, I don't know. I only mention this since I've heard others express concern over it

Another slight annoyance of mine is that when you use the search feature, the cursor defaults to the search box on the results page. I tend to hit page down to view the results, but it doesn't work because of the cursor in its default position. I know it's easily fixed by clicking elsewhere on the page to change the cursor position, but it's slightly annoying to have to do that every time I search. No idea how to fix this, and it's really not a big deal compared to the awesome service you guys provide, but just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Thanks for your help guys, I appreciate everyone here at Romulation and if I've posted in the wrong forum, my apologies

what is the screen resolution on your laptop? the page will not display properly in anything less than 1024x768

i don't think the thing's even big enough to hit 1024 x 768, it's 1024 x 600, the best i can get. No problems elsewhere though, i've never experienced that problem before. I still think centering the column would work well, I noticed someone else complaining about it looking wierd on thier screen. I changed it to 800 x 600 and it actually looks a little better, though it still mashes it together. My desktop is set to 1024 x 768 and the problem persists there as well.

I see what he means. The release date and subscribers combine into one.

I have a desktop resolution of 1650x1028, and when I went out of full screen on my browser, it appeared like this:

Seventhsage here is recommending using center justify the subscribers column rather than left justify. So it will force more space there. Maybe even a Right Justify. Seems like an easy fix to make the page look better and work on more sizes.

    Edit:
Sorry, should have posted a thumbnail.

I will centre the text at the first opportunity.

Netbooks are the future... better get used to low resolutions again.

    They are merely a fad.

not so sure about that. A quick, portable laptop with no cd drive (which I haven't missed in the least) and a good sized hard drive. Not sure this is gonna be a fad... The resolution is a bit wierd, i'll admit, but you can easily change to 800 x 600. Besides, a lot of people have been having this problem, not just me, and as far as I know, it happens on desktops, laptops, and at all resolutions. A simple formatting tweak should solve that problem nicely :)
