Hey, I've been using pokesav for a long time for HG/SS, D/P, and Platinum. I had the compact versions for HG/SS and D/P. A few days ago, my antivirus (Symantec Corporate Edition) suddenly recognized my HG/SS and D/P pokesavs as trojans, and deleted them. The programs were on my flash drive, and when I plugged it in, my antivirus deleted them! What's going on?
Has anyone else been getting this problem? My AV doesn't recognize Platinum Pokesav as a virus, only the HG/SS and D/P as virus. Could it be because my HG/SS and D/P are the compact versions, and maybe those are recognized as viruses? By the way, is projectpokemon.org the best place to find the most recent pokesavs?
You can also set it to ignore those specific files. Every antivirus program has that setting and if it doesn't, find a new program. And technically this wouldn't be an issue with pokesav, but an issue with your antivirus.
