ok, i have been debating till the other night to format my External Maxtor 500gb HDD and well since i formatted it worked for, i would say about a day and well, no computer i hook it too will pick it up and well, i have important docs on there and i wanted to retrieve them before something happened to them is there anyway to get it to pull up without formatting it?? Edit: ok, well it looks like know i can't get into my computer while the HDD is hooked up and the seagate programs for it, is telling me that i have no HDD hooked up, so anyone know what could be causing my bad problems lately with computer stuff??
