I got this message from my provider:
You've now exceeded your monthly Mobile Broadband Fair Use Policy. For the rest of calendar month at peak time 4pm-midnight, only web browsing will be possible.
    Time: 03-09-2010 11:27:18

I pay on the 5th of the month so it runs from the 5th to the 5th. If I don't pay on the 5th I can't access the internet.
So what gives them the fucking right to cut into THIS MONTHS internet because 2 days before I was due to pay I exceeded my fair use policy.
It should only run for that month, 5th to the 5th right?
What has the calendar month got to do with my payment? I cant go over my date!
    NEVER, EVER USE T MOBILE!!!
If I go over it should only affect me upto the end of my payment month.

Why don't you just call them and ask about the calender month thing?

I'll spend 20 minutes on hold just to be told its in the terms and conditions.
Which wasn't by the way when I got it, they reserve the right to change them though....

tmobile suck anyway, but this is fairly typical of mobile broadband in the UK.

I'm assuming that telling them to shove their service up their asses and switch to somebody else is out of the question? :

Thank god I don't have any caps like that on my internet. I'd break it every time.

Im moving soon my house is getting knocked down and im getting a new build, I won't get a phone line put in because its just a waste of money, I could get the word tomorrow.
Im just gonna have to put up with it for now and hope it isn't too long.
I only have 1 option though, KC have a monopoly in Hull I can only use them and they are quite possibly the worst ISP in the country. Better than mobile broadband though.

Try to change so you're paying from the 27th to the 27th maybe.
