Im new to the ps2 "roms". I have already downloaded and extracted an Iso through a torrent.(gta san andreas). Its a 4.19 size file. I can only find 4.7gb size dvds. I also only have a 4.7gb dvd-rw disk. I have tried burning it, but it won't work, what do i need to do. ???

    Thanks in advanced. ;D

Use a program like IMGBurn to burn the image to the DVD.

It's ok that the file is 4.19 and the DVD is 4.7, as long as the file isn't larger than the DVD.

Here is something about file sizes.

    4.7 is actually 4.70

    Safe to burn ;D

I actually didn't think that the topic creator would think that 19 > 7... remember, they are decimals. So 2.25 is smaller than 2.5, even if 25 is bigger than 5 ;)

And another note. Do not use RW (rewritable) DVDs and CDs when burning games. They are not very good.

Isn't the game not playable if it was burn into RW?

I don't know. I just know you aren't supposed to do it.

You need either a Modchip or a Swap disc.

How can i play them without a mod chip or a swap disk. I don't want to solder the mod chip, but also don't want to buy a swap disk. (since swap disks cost more than the actual game i have)

Detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.
