Is this the Original R4?

Hey, I'm looking to buy a flashcart for my little 7 year old brother since he is always bugging me to borrow my
Acekard 2i, and since I know the Original R4 has good compatibility with Wood R4 firmware, and with all the clones out there, I want to know if this is the Original R4.

No it is not a real R4 but a clone.

I've got one myself and I do not use it I only
use my Acekard 2i with AKIO 1.8.1

Than I would say he should buy a Acekard 2i they work well with a DSI
if you keep the firmwire below 1.4x for the DSI you can update the Acekard
without flashing it with a DS Lite

 

I have had one of thease ones - i would not say clone that would get people confused - but a "remake" - EDIT: becufull about this reproduction the microSD card reader fails fast

And they are both just the same and works well with both YSMenu and woodR4

+ the ovels are just the same as the original

The best flash cart for the DSi is indisputably the DSTwo.

Acekard2i is just sort of that runner up at this point that you get if you don't want any extras, though, it's at the point that any respectable DSi owner that is buying a flash cart for ANYTHING other than DS games better be buying the DSTwo.

I bought the same R4 from lightake and it can use wood r4. Is it now a fake or a real one?

 

the real answer is there are no more original R4s in production.

There are fakes that work with Wood, and fakes that don't.

 

I have had one of them - and woodR4 works' fine - it's a rep duction OK not original are a fake

I sed i bought one of them - and it matches in every way to they original version - OK so its a copy of the original making it a remake

The only problem i found was the USB microSD reader fails very fast that come with that package - so you need a good quality usb microSD reader

Basicly WoodR4 V1.20 works grate on that R4 in that package on the image he shown on the ^ first post

 

oh, ok yes you are right- there is no real difference between the clone and the original as long as wood works!

 

Beleave me it work's on that type in that package! XD.

 

Go to http://shoptemp.com/ they sell it cheap its a trusted website ( it has a forum almost all gamers use ) so if you look for the specific card I promise it wont be a clone.
