    Hey,

When I am bored I start to play RTS games on my pc. Like Warcraft III (never WOW! That is a RPG, that kind of games I only love for ds ....)

A friend and I have bought togehter the expansion pack for this and we both installed it.

Now, you need the CD to play. But we have bought one copy!
Is it then legal that I install a NO-CD patch?
Or do I need to buy my own copy and get my moeny back form my friend?

    Please help me out!

if you updated the game to the latest version online then you shouldnt need the cd anymore. if not check blizzards site and they will walk you through how to set up the game for a no cdpatch. also if you play using the same key only one of you can get online but you will be able to play over a LAN togethere.

The rule is,you have to own the cd to use the no cd crack.

But no ones cares or even bothers to check if your have the disk lol.
You can both use the no cd crack dont worry if its illegal :)

Just get alcohol 52% Free and use it to make an iso image of the disc and mount it on the virtual drive and play off of the iso. :p

I do that all the time.

To legally use the no cd crack, you must own a copy.

I have a no cd crack on my resident evil 5, and I still have the disc.

My friend is using it illegally because he borrowed my disk just for the install.

And I'm using a downloaded (see-illegal) copy of prototype with a no cd crack.

It's up to you, and wether your conciousness gives enough of a damn to do so, I don't believe in stealing physical objects, but digital stuff or just "someone's word" is safe for me to steal because you can't tell the differance.

It varies from person to person, and right here is my opinion.
