Is there any difference between Male and Female in Pokemon ?

Some Pokemon have important difference...
For example...
Only a female Combee can evolve.

 

And only female pokemons can successfully do the "attract" move to male pokemons and vice versa.

It depends on the EV+IV+Stats+Personality(Or something)

 

Also for example with gible the male version has a chipped out part at the back of him and the female one doesnt.

Pass on species to children
Different evolution paths available (Froslass, Combee, etc)
