I have tried countless times to download a suitable converter to convert to .dpg format but now i give up. Is there an alternative on the ds that doesn't use .dpg for the videos? Is the author of Moonshell planning to allow other formats to play? Thank you.

Thank you for posting this. I was having no luck with batch dpg and downloaded some other program that was only a trial and only converted the first 5 minutes.... >.<

    Thanks. :)

You've got iPlayer, it's like a flashcard, but it can only play media files, including .avi and .rmvb
    http://www.dsiplayer.com/

Edit: It can play the following files:
Video: DivX, Xvid, QuickTime, Windows Media Video, Realmedia, MPEG, ASF, ASF, VOB and Flash Video.
Audio: MP3, WAV, OGG, Ape and WMA.

Compatible with: DS, DSLite, DSi (It's 1.4 Compatible)

Looks like a good choice for movie lovers!

But if you don't have a Iplayer, moonshl v2.08 is good for playing dpg movies at fair fast speed!

It's also being released as part of the software/firmware bundle on the new SuperCard Two, if and when it ever comes out. They were promising it would be out as a Christmas release, but that didn't happen obviously.

    C'mon guys

Moonshell isn't the only homebrew video player

    Tuna-Vids can play avi's
pretty sure DS linux can play some form of videos
There is also one that is called DSVideo which uses DSV format or something but I think it was discontinued

Well, it doesn't convert, it can only play it.

DOESN'T CONVERT? :p isn't it called "converter"? :p I think i've used it but since it was only a trial it only went half way. So far, the only one that actually worked. I sound cheap but i don't wanna spend $20 on some software that only converts. I think i'll download the one that was in the link after some kind, kind soul will guide me by telling me what i'm downloading and what i have to do because i've never used that "kegen" (sp) thing. :p

Oh, and doesn't Tuna Vids need some kind of Xavi format or something?

we were talking about Xilisoft... i think :p i'm not too sure what iPlayer is. Is it like a the actual card (like DSTT, R4 etc.) or a homebrew/app?
