there's some rapidshare links in the forum.

Just for the record, DS is not powerful enough to play N64 games natively, let alone with the overheads of emulation. So that is a pipe dream that won't happen.

also edrick, please type properly, it took me 5x longer to read your post than it should have.

My normal reading speed is at least 6x faster than most people, I don't like being slowed down.

Wow so the transition isn't like DS phat to DSL, instead the games are completely different?!?!

Only the DSiWare games. These are games that are downloaded from their "shop" like the Wii Shop.

Nintendo DS cartridge games will still be able to play on the Phat, Lite, and DSi.

Yes. The changes between the first two DSs weren't really internal or had anything updated, just different design, extra brightness, and a more updated firmware.

yes but i think this discussion is more about whether the new DSi games will play on the phat or DSL, which as loony said, no.

Also the PSX emulator for PSP is actually inbuilt into the psp and was developed by sony.

Uh, so i have to get a whole new system just to play the new games. Sucks... and that means people won't produce DS games anymore!!!! NOOO!

Yes, there will be homebrew and stuff, but like real nintendo licensed stuff.

The DSiWare games will be similar to the Wii Shop, in other words, re-releases of Retro games, etc.

Companies will continue to develope cartridge games for the Nintendo DS, the DSiWare games are not designed to replace those.
