started up Pokemon Emerald and I got the internal battery thing and I'm wondering if theres a way around the battery
Are you playing on a computer or a smartphone? If on a smartphone, disregard my advice below and wait for someone more knowledgeable with Smartphone GBA Emulators to come along. If you are playing on a computer, click on the Spoiler tag to read what I have to say... Spoiler Old way... http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=6326.0 Newer better way... Get VBA-M as it already comes packaged with the required "vba-over.ini" file. It doesn't come with the GBA BIOS file though so you have to look than one up on your own: http://vba-m.com/forum/Thread-visualboyadvance-m-svn-1097-mfc-info-and-download If VBA-M crashes the first time you run it and the error message says something in the lines of "required .dll file not installed" go to this link, download and install the Directx SDK pack: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=6812 Addendum: There are really NO significant "Timed Events" on Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald anyway. The internal clock only resets the berry trees in game as well as raises/lowers the tide in the ocean to coincide with high &/or low tide.
