Not an HTTP website. The bandwidth requirements would be astronomical.
The only place to get them would be through torrents.

I don't know if posting a link is ok. So if a mod sees this and decides it's not, please just remove it.
If it gets removed, original poster, then google.

Torrent links are alright. Probably, if it's modded I'd say.

You need a mod chip. Once that's out of the way, burn the downloaded iso onto a dvd-r using a program called ImgBurn at 4x.

    Download torrents from sites like:
    www.thepiratebay.org
    www.mininova.org

Or, if you want legal games, MiniClip has a Wii channel, they make Wii Games I think.

I'm assuming those are homebrew or Ware or something.

I seen on you tube a video where you dont need a modded wii
I seen three versions of doing this

    1. the more obvious modded we and burned onto dvd-r
    2. the zelda thwiilight princess hack
    and
    3. changing the name of a mii to boot.me and having WAD. files on an sd card

id like to learn more about the 3rd option
have any of you heard of this?

The twilight hack can only run homebrew, and lately, dvds (like store dvd movies).
You CANNOT run backups on an un-chipped wii.

The actual disc drive is what keeps us from playing burned games, and you CANNOT change the disc drive through firmware changes or channel hacks. You CAN use a special tool to install WAD files, but WAD's are only vitrual console and WiiWare containers. They can't be used to bypass the disc drives anti-piracy function. A modchip goes onto the disc drive and allows you to run any disc.

So if you want to run homebrew or install WAD's, then you just need the twilight hack and the homebrew channel.
If you want to run backup wii and gamecube games, you NEED a modchip.

PAL games should work on a NTSC wii with a modchip.

Yeah I'm just scared of semi/full bricks.

Does anyone have an actively updated list of games that have updates on them?
