I now think it is anime. TLOZ is japanse, big eyes and stuff and that is why!
On a blog post of mine they say I am wrong! Why? And then what is TLOZ?

    Yup.

Japanese has that kind of animation on many of their games.
So yes it is "Anime" looking.

In the 80's The Legend of Zelda DID had a cartoon:

The design they used to retcon Link is Anime inspired yes, but the games are games.

Seriously, you need to pick up a dictionary & read the definition of what an anime is :p

Anime - (noun) a stylistic approach at cartoon animation developed in Japan.

Also just like with Mario, I HATED how they retconned Link into an annoying Girly voiced boy, listening to an annoying prissy little Fairy (Navi) all day :p

HEY! I LIKED NAVI. I just liked how blue they are, and I liked the body features they had. I loved the sceneries around them... oh wait, wrong Navi.

Honestly, the moment I met Navi in OoT for the first time, I wanted to squash her like a bug right then & there. Her constant, "Hey! Listen!" nagging pissed me off so much that I had to mute the sound on my emulator & listen to my tunes instead. And really, Link's girly voice as a kid was annoying too.

But it's still a great game.
