Hello, I was just wondering if the Acekard is worth buying. I have an R4 Ultra (a clone) and I had enough with its firmware. I've got the older firmware for the Acekard running on it through the R4's firmware. It's really tedious, and still lacks capability for some games. Newer firmware for the Acekard has been blocked for use on R4 clones. Do you think it would be a good investment to buy an Acekard?
I think it's a very good investment. Though I am waiting for the SuperCard DSTwo now. It offers GBA emulation! And an awesome OS and many features that the AK2i doesn't have...but for now, the AK 2i is worth buying.
GBA emulation, eh? Sounds good to me. I'll have to look that one up sometime, and maybe I'll lurk around the forums for some persuasion. BTW I'm using a DSL.
I suggest waiting for the Supercard as well, maybe. As for the interim, try using Wood R4 (clone version). It's essentially AKAIO for R4.
Actually, I've tried to put Wood R4 on it before, it doesn't work with the R4 Ultra. Also, I've tried to find YS Menu for the R4 on the creator's site, but I couldn't find it!
