is my r4 card fake

i have try to put the r4 woods on my r4 card but i get a white screen went i load a game i have some pictures of my r4 card and i have tryed ysmenu too but same thing white screen and the only firmware work on my r4 card is 1.18 but that is outdated and i play the latest games

Yes you see them bubbles at the top of your R4 ?, It should be half a bubble line on a original card

so what firmware can i use and on the r4 card it says R4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS)

It doesn't matter what it says on the outside of the card now because it is basically just all lies.
You will have to try pretty much all the alternate R4 stuff until you find one that works best, I'd start from most popular and then move to less so. >_> But yea I used to have (I guess I still do) an R4 Clone. I hated it because I couldn't use skins but i still had to use it for like one or two years. >_>sucksbro. Just test out the firmwares. I'll check and post back which one I used mostly.

EDIT: Over time I switched to YSMenu I think. goodluck.

 

I have the same problem. I just use v1.18 like you.. too bad some games won't work on it

(Do-Note) On a original R4 it can only take upto 2gb microsd chip , "NON" sdhc type

Not all games will play, each firmware has it's own fixes for certin roms and mabe get updated by the month
