the radeon HD3600 is pretty old so it probably wont cope with the latest games.

It would be possible to upgrade your graphics card, however that would likely also mean a power supply upgrade. You might also need more ram depending on how much it has.

the current case is probably fine so long as the ventilation is adequate. I need to know the power supply rating in order to suggest a new graphics card. Take the side panel off of the computer, and inside it, where the power lead plugs in, will be a metal box that should have a sticker on it. Somewere on the sticker should be the output power rating in Watts (W). I need that number.

  7. version3

version3 Is actually KappaMikey in the internet

I suggest using this website to know if your specs can run a certain game or not.

Is it that hard to say thanks instead of thankz?

The photo of the sticker is too out of focus to read anything. The figure you want is in the 'output' section of the large box at the top of the sticker. Type out everything in that section.

    Cooling system looks adequate.

yes, but they are less letters at least they have some sort of argument of how to save time but thankz is just plain stupid. Anyway don't want to lead it back off topic.

This seems like an appropriate enough thread for me not to make a new one.

Basically I'm planning on buying a gaming laptop, Alienware M11x. It has "1GB NVIDIA® 335M graphics".

The thing is... I have no clue whatsoever how good or bad a graphics card it is. All I know is it's better than the Intel GMA. If you can, could someone give me a rough idea of, say, the newest game it can play on highest settings? I just want a rough idea before I make the purchase.

Alienware often overheats and it is not a good idea to do up to date games on a laptop anyway.

its OK ignoring the fact that the nvidia cards above (and including) the 200 series seem to have serious design flaws and its a low end mobility chip within its series.
