guys is Moonshell 1.0 DPG Tools any good to convert video's or is there a better converter.

SUPER is a really good free converter.

It will let you convert video/audio to just about anything. It works great to covert dvds for my phone.

 

I use free video converter, normally when converting videos they go at 2x the speed of watching them, but with this , it goes up to around 10x. Koyote soft made it i think

 

I use BatchDPG to convert my Youtube video's so that they work on my DS and it's a pretty fast converter

 

There are several programs to make DPG files the one I've
uploaded is one which allows you to choose the quality
of your DPG files and isa good and fast one and it regonizes all files
which Batch Dpg not always does

 

Is it user friendly? Just wondering because I never heard of it.

Yes it is You can choose any sort of file ( AVI video ts mkv )
and the converter converts it to DPG file

you can also choose for which moonshell version you want to convert
(from v1.71 to v 2.02 stable) you can choose the quality

I don't see any roblems why not all versions of moonshell 2.02 and further
should not work with R4I I have moonshell v 2.00 stable and I had a newer one
and they all worked on my R4I RTS

 

i use dvdfab 6 to convert files or dvds to ds format - makes excellent .dpg files!!

 

What about the DPGEncoder that came with Moonshell 2.05 Stable? I used that for one of my videos, but it came out with no sound. Which of these encoders would be best?

 

The best encoder to use according to me is
wondershare DPG converter it is an easy program
that is fast and good and this I like the most
of it you can select the DPG type of file you want:

DPG1 video ----> optimized for moonshell (the original moonshell)
DPG2 video ----> optimized for moonshell 1.71 or above
DPG3 video ----> optimized for moonshell 1.71 or above
DPG4 video ----> optimized for moonshell 2.00 or above

That is why I like Wondershare DPG converter so much
