Is it safe to update DSi?

    Currently have a DSi that is Ver 1.4.1U and wanted to upgrade it. I am using a www.r4ids.cn 3DS cart w/ Wood v1.50 on it and just want to make sure it will still work as usual after the update. What is the most current DSi system update version?

    Update your R4i with the patch on their website (if you already haven't done so) before you update your DSi, the current DSi firmware is 1.4.4

    I believe I did that but to make sure I'll do it again. Cart had the Dorasu app icon and now I have Chronicles of Narnia, if that makes a difference whether or not I ran the patch. I guess as long as there is a cure I'll go ahead and run the update.
