A few DS owners asked me if it's safe to go online/wifi on a flash cart. Another quaston, is it even possible to go online using an emulator on a PC?

No, you can't go online with current DS emulators

    This is exactly correct.
There's no way you can be "traced" whilst online.

^ Seeing as though the ROM data is exactly the same of that as the retail Catridge.

going online with a rom before its released is generally a bad idea though

Why not? It hasn't been invented (or tested) yet?

I have spent countless hours looking stuff up on it, so don't waste your time.

You can go online with a rom and a flashcart, but ensure that the game has been release. :p
This is because it is kinda suspicious when you are playing Scribblenauts, 2 weeks early or Pokemon 3/4 days before it's release.

Yes, it's safe... if you are using any Flash Card...

    NO EMULATORS
