Is it really broken?

I have been using my Micro SD card for about 1 1/2 years now.
I used it for my EDGE, then R4, then EDGE again but I only have experienced difficulties with it now.
See, I use my R4i Gold adapter on my laptop for the SD to transfer files.
But now, my laptop cannot read or format the card.
Is my Micro SD permanently broken?

I've tried the Card Reader (w/ many ports) and it doesn't work.

I only have one adapter.

 

You may have to get a new adapter before getting a new card.

 

Sadly enough, my EDGE adapter is missing.
Oh well. Might as well buy a new one.

 

That would be the only suggestion I would have. And if that doesn't work, then you'll need a new MicroSD card.

When I inserted it in my EDGE (just now)
it said "Booting..." then froze there!

Your MicroSD has probably corrupted, or even failed. You'll want to try a different adapter first (you can buy them for less than you can buy a MicroSD). If it still can't be read by your PC, then you'll need a new MicroSD.

Flash storage doesn't last forever.

 

Thanks, I found out the problem.
A part of it melted or something, I just bought a new one.
