Is it possible to swap a MKWii disk with a burnt disk?

Hey. I borrowed Mario Kart Wii from a friend, and it is so scratched up that after the strap screen, it stops reading the disk. It's not my Wii, because I just got it for Christmas. So, I was wondering, could I play the game, then when it crashes, swap the disk with a burnt disk with Mario Kart Wii on it and play? I have a 25th Anniversary Wii running 4.3u and it's not modded.

    Thanks.

It would have to be modded.

That and it most likely has a drive that can't read burned games. The newer ones have this feature. It only leaves you with the option to play games via USB from a Harddrive or a flashdrive.

Dang. My mom won't let me mod it until the warranty is up. :(

Scrape off one of the stickers covering a case screw, and show it to her. Just say "I saw this sticker here that said 'Warranty Void if Broken' and the seal is already broken! I guess we don't have a warranty anymore..." Make sure to put on your best innocent face.

If you agreed with the EULA, then you'll break the contract you made with Nintendo saying you won't mod it. I broke mine.

That's actually a very good idea.
